Floyd H. Foxall, 71, of Macomb, died at 3:45 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, 1998, at McDonough District Hospital.

He was born Aug. 21, 1926, in Macomb, a son of Henry and Mary Friday Foxall. He married Ruth Ellen Dunn on May 23, 1948, in Aledo. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Craig of Galesburg; one daughter, Mrs. Stephen (Cathy) Terry of Littleton; four grandchildren; two brothers, LaVerne and Max, both of Macomb; and two sisters, Margaret Mercer of Table Grove and Elizabeth Wiles of East Moline.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

He was an employee of the U.S. Post Office from 1954 until he retired as postal supervisor in 1984. A World War II Army veteran, he was a member of Macomb Veterans of Foreign Wars Post. He was a member of Macomb Lodge, AF&AM and Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Quincy. He was a former member of Ebenezer Church.

Services were held this morning at Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Green officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the McDonough District Hospital Home Health Care.
