Ruby J. Ford, 56, of Lewistown, died at 2:12 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28, 1997, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born March 13, 1941, at Smithfield, a daughter of Raymond G. Sr. and Grace I. Cleer Peters. She married Charles E. Ford on Oct. 14, 1960, at Lewistown. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Cecil R. Ford of Paris; three daughters, Ronda Ford of Manito, Mrs. Neil (Raylene) Cluney of rural Lewistown, and Raejean Nicholas of Christiansburg, Ohio; four grandchildren; four brothers, James Peters and John L. Peters, both of Havana, Donald G. Peters of Lewistown and Raymond G. “Bud” Peters Jr. of rural Astoria; three sisters, Mrs. Wayne (Irene) Lowder of Canton, Mrs. Jack (Viola) Scalf of Havana and Edith Thompson of Summum.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Maurice, and one sister, Bonnie.
She was of the Assembly of God faith.
Services were held this morning at Henry Memorial Home in Lewistown with Rev. Lester Burgard officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery at Lewistown. Memorials may be made to Mid West Kidney Centers in care of Graham Hospital at Canton.
