Mrs. Dorothy A. Frise, 67, of 504 S. Jefferson, Lewistown, died at 12:50 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 1978, in Mason District Hospital, Havana.
She was born March 21, 1911, in Putnam Township, Fulton County, a daughter of Charles and Minnie (Haacke) Hummel. She married Raymond P. Frise March 21, 1936, at Galesburg.
Surviving are her husband; and five sisters, Mrs. Lois McCumber and Mrs. Vera Bloyd, both of Lewistown, Mrs. Mildred Savill of Canton, Mrs. Florence Graton of Bloomington and Mrs. Elva Thompson of Astoria.
Mrs. Frise was a former secretary at Lewistown High School and in the Fulton County school superintendent’s office. She was a member of the Bryant Christian Church and the Bader Ladies Aid.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Henry Memorial Home, with Rev. Stan Fretwell officiating. Burial was in White Chapel Memory Gardens at Canton.
