Mrs. Mary Madalynne Furnace, 48, of 702½ S. 10th St., Pekin, died at 5:40 a.m. Saturday at Pekin Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Browning July 16, 1921, to Ivans and Virginia Bartholow Bryant, and was married Oct. 30, 1943, in Astoria, to Randall Furnace, who died April 7, 1962.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Randi Knoll of Pekin; her mother, of Browning; two sisters, Mrs. Beryl Gruber of Browning and Mrs. Alice Curless of Astoria, and a brother, Franklin Bryant of Springfield. One brother preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday afternoon at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. D. Arnold Naff officiating. Burial was in Astoria Cemetery.
