Aged Astoria Resident Dies At Daughter’s Home

George Foster, a life long resident of Astoria, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. James Derry, Tuesday evening at 7:30 o’clock, aged 85 years, 7 months and 15 days.

The deceased’s wife died in 1927. He is survived by three children, Mrs. James Derry, H. E. and Glen Foster of Beardstown, and a half brother, A. D. Foster of Astoria.

Short funeral services will be held at the Salem cemetery where interment will be made Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock, conducted by Rev. Fred Thompson.
