Miss Rheba Foster Of Vermont Passes Away

Miss Rheba Vergene Foster, 31, of Vermont, died Friday afternoon at the St. Francis hospital in Macomb, following an eight weeks’ illness.

Miss Foster was born in Vermont, April 16, 1909, a daughter of Wm. L. and Florence (Crabtree) Foster. Surviving besides the parents, is a brother, Jack D., at home. She was well known in Astoria.

She was a visitor of the division of Old Age assistance, public welfare department, with headquarters at Lewistown. Miss Foster, a graduate of Vermont High school and Brown’s Business college in Peoria was also a member of Crescent Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon at the Christian church in Vermont, conducted by Rev. K. L. Patterson. Interment in Vermont cemetery.
