OSCAR F. FOWLER

Obituary

O. F., second son of George and Julia Fowler was born in Bader on Sept. 8, 1875. Nov. 14, 1897 he was united in marriage to Lillie Robertson who with an infant preceded him in death in the year 1899.

On Aug. 15, after a brief illness hemorrhage of the brain, having been stricken while at work on the Frisco railroad he passed away in a hospital at Springfield, Mo., aged 54 years, 11 months and 7 days. The body was brought to Browning, arriving here Friday night, Aug. 22. Funeral services were held at the home of his sister Mrs. Annabel Robertson Saturday afternoon, Rev. Rippy, officiating. Interment in the Ridgeville cemetery. The decedent is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Hal E. Palmer of Bloomington and Mrs. Annabel Robertson of Browning and one brother Claude of Prairie City.
