IPAVA — Funeral services were held Friday at the C. V. Marshall home for Charles Foote, 85 year old Civil war veteran who died at the home of his son, John Foote at Billings, Mont., Monday, April 14, after a lingering illness.

Mr. Foote was married to Miss Sadie Saddler and to them were born two children, Mrs. Ina Marshall and John Foote. He was associated with the woolen mills here for many years. Leaving here some 20 years ago he has since made his home in Montana. Mrs. Foote died some thirty years ago.

A military funeral was given him. Only two comrades of the Civil war, William Tatham and John Hoopes, are left here. The A. L. boys had charge.
