VERMONT — Florence R. France, daughter of Henry and Rebecca Heaton, was born June 17, 1862, died September 30, 1920, at the age of 58 years, 3 months and 13 days. She was married May 7, 1882 to Sylvester France who died September 20, 1918. Mr. and Mrs. France had no children, but took to raise Rosa B. Richey when she was a child of tender years; and upon her they bestowed great care and affection. Mrs. Richey lives on the home place west of Vermont. Of the brothers and sisters of her family, those surviving her are: William Heaton, Rushville, Frank, Sanford and Andrew Heaton, of Vermont, Mrs. Sarah Beghtol of Macomb, James Heaton, Gray, Colorado, Edward Heaton and Mrs. Rosa Gay, of Littleton, Albert and Cornelius Heaton, of Industry. Her father, mother and one sister, Ella preceded her in death. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 1 o’clock p.m. at the Christian church by Rev. Fred Wilson and interment in the Vermont cemetery.
