A wave of sadness went over Stronghurst last week when Frank Ford, aged 19, died of typhoid fever. He was one of this year’s graduates of the Stronghurst high school, prominent in all the school’s activities and athletics. His death occurred on the eve of his class assembling for the baccalaureate sermon, and the occasion was a gloomy one indeed.
