VINCENT E. FOY

Springfield, Ill., April 20 — Vincent E. Foy, a prominent jurist and politician of Christian county, died at his home at Taylorville of blood poisoning, aged 54. During the civil war he served in the One Hundred and Sixty-first Ohio infantry, and was successively city attorney at Taylorville, state’s attorney and county judge of Christian county. For four years he was editor and proprietor of the Taylorville Democrat.
