She was born Aug. 15, 1938, in Rushville, a daughter of Raymond J. and Emma L. Bussen Ehrhardt.
Surviving are two sisters, Sister Jean Patrick Barbara Ehrhardt of Springfield and Cecilia Rang of Mt. Sterling; seven nieces and nephews; 11 great nieces and nephews; and five great-great nieces.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Jo Busen; one brother, Don Ehrhardt; and one great niece, Sarah Rang.
She began working in the family business, Rushville Hardware Company, at age 16 and eventually became a partner before retiring. She was a member of Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church, St. Rose Altar and Rosary Society, Church Women United and Springfield Dominican Association. She also was a member of Sarah D. Culbertson Auxiliary and she delivered many mobile meals.
A funeral mass was held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Rushville on Monday, June 8, with Father Marc Nkulu in charge. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville was in charge of arrangements.
