Mary EblenMary Margaret Eblen, 75, of Rushville died at 7 a.m. Oct. 22, 2021, at her residence.

She was born Dec. 1, 1945, a daughter of Glen and Margaret Ruether Brown. She married James F. Eblen on June 13, 1964, in Rushville. He survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Pamela (and Kraig) Kotter of Rushville and Cheryl (and Gary) Byars of Salem; six brothers, Dennis (and Angela) Brown of White City, Ore., Gary (and Nina) Brown of Kerrville, Texas, Glenn (and Diana) Brown of Sioux Falls, S.D., Charles (and Nancy) Brown of Brandon, S.D., and Randy (and Jane) Brown and Steve Brown, both of Waller, Texas; one sister, Debbie (and Richard) Quinn of Mount Sterling; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Branden Lee Eblen and Sean James Eblen; two sisters, Judy (and Jerry) Sherlock and Dianne (and Doug) Borchers; and two brothers, Brian Brown and Randall Brown.

She was a CNA at Culbertson Hospital, worked at IGA, was a bus aide and a waitress, all in Rushville. She also worked at Capital Records in Jacksonville.

She was a member of the Rushville Women of the Moose.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Dan Wise officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
