He was born Feb. 3, 1967, in Jacksonville, a son of Ronald and Linda Lyttaker Engelbrecht. He married Amy L. Barrett on July 2, 1999, in Lewistown. She survives.
Also surviving are his parents of Rushville; his grandmother, Dorothy Lyttaker of Rushville; two sons, William T. (and Faxon) Engelbrecht of Beardstown and Darrell W. (and Jennifer) Engelbrecht of Rushville; and one grandchild.
He was a Dredge and Pump Operator for Mid-America Dredging of Good Hope.
He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Rushville.
He was a C.B. and Ham Radio operator.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Mr. David Haney officiating. Burial will follow in Christian Neck Cemetery. Visitation will be held from noon until the time of services on Friday.
