She was born Feb. 11, 1930, in Canton, the daughter of Ralph and Mabel Mellert DeWitt. She married Robert L. Eskridge on Nov. 8, 1953, in Canton. He died Sept. 30, 2006.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Stephen Eskridge.
Surviving are one son, Ralph Eskridge of rural Cuba; and three grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and a life-long farm wife.
She was a member of Locust Lane United Methodist Church and China Guild.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba with Pastor Ellen Dodd officiating. Burial will be in Fiatt Cemetery.
