Samuel E. Easley, 52, of Ipava died at 9:30 a.m. July 19, 2011, at home.
He was born May 23, 1959, in Canton, a son of Samuel K. and Irma J. McCombs Easley. They preceded him in death.
Surviving are two brothers, Marshall Easley of Washington, Mo., and Robert Easley of Ipava; one sister, Shirley (and Stuart) Schmitt of Mapleton; a special friend, Becky Morgan of Ipava; three nephews; and one niece.
He was a welder at Yetter Manufacturing in Colchester for many years.
He was a member of Sons of the American Legion Post #17 of Ipava.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service was held Thursday at Ipava American Legion. Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava was in charge of arrangements.
