Patsy "Pat" Eaton, 63, of Beardstown, died at 6:35 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13, 2006, at Heritage Manor South Nursing Home in Beardstown.
She was born Sept. 27, 1942, in Frederick, a daughter of George Donald and Alice Luella Irvin Ren. She married Terry Edwin Eaton on May 2, 1959, in Rushville. He died March 15, 1977.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Terry Joe; one brother, Joe Fisher; and two sisters, Lulu Williams and Nellie Glass.
Surviving are one daughter Linda (and Tim) Knippenberg of Rushville; four brothers, John (and Kay) Ren of Beardstown, Henry C. (and Peggy) of Frederick, William Ren and Jerry (and Bonny) Ren; two sisters, Josephine Smith of East Peoria and Lucille Spears of Peoria Heights; and one grandson.
She was a cook at the Star Cafe in Beardstown for 20 years and at the Beardstown IGA deli for three years.
Services were held Monday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Roger Barnes officiating. Burial was in Messerer Cemetery near Frederick.
