Vida S. Etter, 95, of Astoria, died at 11:55 a.m. Monday, June 30, 1997, at Astoria Healthcare Center.
She was born Sept. 15, 1901, in Ipava, a daughter of Thomas and Lizzie Johnson Weber. She married Robert Etter on Sept. 12, 1936, in Detroit, Mich. He died April 30, 1976. She also was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are two nephews, Phillip Kessler of North Manchester, Ind., and Clinton Weber Jr. of the state of Washington.
She was a member of Astoria Church of the Brethren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria, where visitation will be one hour before services. Rev. Gary Schultz will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery near Astoria.
