Marian A. Eskridge, 66, of Lewistown, died at 5:43 p.m., Monday, Dec. 16, 1996, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born on July 6, 1930, in Summum, the daughter of Erna R. and Geneva Deary Trone. She married John W. Eskridge on July 25, 1948, at Lewistown. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Linda Eddington of Abingdon and Eloise DeMont of Kewanee; two grandchildren, John and Kathryn Eddington; three stepgrandchildren, Cherie Sasnett, Dee Ann Eddington and Dustin Eddington; and one great-granddaughter, Cassandra Sasnett.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She retired in July of 1995 from the Fulton County Assessor’s Office where she had worked for 17 years. She was a member of the Lewistown United Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of Lewistown Chapter #634 Order of Eastern Star.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Henry Memorial Home in Lewistown with Rev. John Pereboom officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Lewistown.
Memorials may be made to the Lewistown United Presbyterian Church.
