Mary Louise Ellison, 89, formerly of Vermont, died at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 1995, aat the Elms Nursing Home in Macomb.
She was born July 5, 1905, in Jacksonville, a daughter of William D. and Ella C. Carriel Roberts. She married Lawrence S. Ellison on June 23, 1934, in Grand Rapids, Mich. He died Oct. 14, 1989. She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Rosalee Wells, in February 1994, and two brothers.
Surviving are one daughter, Julia Frosberg of Eatonville, Wash.; one sister, Ruth Crosslin of Chicago; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
A graduate of the University of Illinois, she was a school teacher for 37 years.
She was a member of Vermont Christian Church.
Graveside services were held this morning at Vermont Cemetery with Rev. Clint Palmer officiating. Kost Memorial Home was in charge of arrangements.
