Earl J. Ellison, 76, of St. Louis, formerly of Canton died at 4:05 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, 1990 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in St. Louis.
He was born Aug. 25, 1914, in Vermont, a son of Elmer J. and Mary T. Corbett Ellison. He married Nellie L. Eddy on Nov. 25, 1936, in Canton. She survives.
One brother, Richard of Canton also survives. He was preceded in death by one son, John, one brother and one sister.
He was a retired contractor supervisor. He was a member of Morning Star Lodge 734 AF&AM in Canton, and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Masonic graveside services will be at 11 a.m. this morning at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton. There will be no visitation. Cremation rites have been accorded. Oaks Memorial Chapel in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
