Isaac B. Elgin Dies At Age 64Isaac B. Elgin Dies At Age 64Isaac B. Elgin, 64, of Vermont, died at 10:25 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, 1980, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
He was born May 26, 1916, in Newtonia, Mo., a son of Jess and Elsie Beatty Elgin. He married Dorothy Atwater in Rushville Mar. 22, 1938.
Mr. Elgin was a grinder at Clayton-Mark & Co. foundry and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Russell and Robert, both of Vermont; and nine grandchildren.
Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services are to be at 2 p.m. this afternoon at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Rev. Claude Curry officiating. Burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery near Astoria.
