Mrs. Erma English, 58, of Table Grove, died at 2:03 a.m. Sunday, Mar. 2, 1980, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born April 13, 1921, in Fulton County, the daughter of Charles and Rosella Ackerson White. She married Charles Bevard. He died Dec. 5, 1965. She married Ivan English Sept. 27, 1958. He died Dec. 28, 1975.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mary Dennis of Table Grove and Mrs. Marilyn Kitch of Walnut Grove; six grandchildren; four brothers, Samuel of Bushnell, Franklin of Moline, Charles of Washington, Ill., and Roy of Galesburg; and two sisters, Mrs. Alta Zimmerman and Mrs. Shirley Weaver, both of Ellisville.
She was preceded in death by four sisters and one grandson.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Vermont Methodist Church with Claude Curry officiating. Burial will be in Harris Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont.
