Robert Etter, 82, of Astoria died at 6 p.m. Friday, April 20, 1976, at his home, the victim of an apparent heart attack.
He was born Nov. 13, 1893 near Astoria, the son of Phillip and Elizabeth Hollinger Etter. He married Vida S. Weber, Sept. 12, 1936 in Detroit, Mich. She survives.
He was the custodian for the Astoria Township Cemetery for over 20 years.
Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Carrie Seward of Astoria; three brothers, Harvey of Astoria, Earl of Traverse City, Mich., and W. D. of Ipava. He was preceded in death by three sisters and seven brothers.
Funeral services services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday afternoon at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. Arnold Naff officiating. Burial was in the Woodland Cemetery.
