Pearl Smith English, 78, died May 2 at Illini Hospital in Silvis after a brief illness.
She was the wife of Robert English of Marietta who preceded her in death. She had one daughter, Mrs. Ila Derry, formally of Astoria, three sons, Delbert English of San Leandro, Calif., Edwin English of Akron, Ohio, Max English of Clinton, Ohio, 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Burial was at Marietta Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 5.
