Joseph W. English, 63, died Saturday in the Schmitt Memorial hospital in Beardstown following an illness of several months duration.
He was born Aug. 18, 1889, a son of Walter and Sarah Catherine Danner English. He never married.
Surviving are two brothers, Calvin English of Bennett, Colo., and Clarence English of Flint, Mich.
Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in the Shawgo Memorial Home, conducted by Rev. Fred Thompson. Burial in Astoria cemetery.
