Sister Of Mrs. Jessie Smithe, Astoria, Dies

Mrs. Florence Mabel Eyman, of Canton, sister of Mrs. Jessie Smithe of Astoria, died Tuesday morning at the Graham hospital, Canton.

Born Dec. 15, 1889, in Waterford township, a daughter of James and Sarah C. (France) Hardin, she was married on Sept. 3, 1907 in Petersburg, to Earl Eyman, who survives.

Other survivors include her father, James Hardin, Lewistown; three children, James, at home, Earl D. and Silbert, Canton, Rt. 5; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, John Hardin, Canton, and two sisters, Mrs. Edith Eyman, Lewistown, and Mrs. Jessie Smithe, Astoria.

She was a member of the First Methodist church, Evening Star Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, the DAR, president of the Daughters of Union Veterans and a past president of the Gay Circle club.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 3 p.m. in the First Methodist church, Canton, conducted by Rev. J. D. Muir. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
