She was born Sept. 17, 1957, in Canton, a daughter of Maurice and Loretta Brenneman Bordner. She married Rick Descamps on April 21, 2011, in Las Vegas. He survives.
Also surviving are seven children, Becky (and Aaron) Mikulich of Lewistown, Robert (and Brandi) Descamps of Bellville, Gretchen (and Cortez) Moss of Peoria, Charles (and Rhonda) Whitman of Pekin, Jon Whitman of Springfield, Corey Whitman of Argenta and Stephanie Descamps of East Peoria; two sisters, Betsy (and Gene) Cwick of Canton and Margie (and Jerry) Gramlich of Colorado; three brothers, Jack (and Linda) Bordner of Canton, Jim Bordner of Creve Coeur and Bill (and Sue) Bordner of East Peoria; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Jazmyne Harris; and one brother, George Bordner.
She worked for the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office as a telecommunicator for 21 years, retiring in March, 2018.
Cremation was accorded. Private inurnment will be held at a later date. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown is in charge of arrangements.
