MAX E. DANNER

Max Danner

Max E. Danner, 88, of Astoria died at 2:40 a.m. Dec. 19, 2016, at Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy.

He was born Aug. 18, 1928, in Summum, the son of Curtis R. and Doris R. Derry Danner. He married Betty J. Schuman on Oct. 29, 1949, in Astoria. She preceded him in death on May 17, 2015.

Surviving are one sister, Patricia Weaver of Liverpool; and caretakers, Everett and Susan Easley of Astoria.

He worked for AmerenIllinois for 35 years.

He was a United States Marine Corps veteran, serving in the Korean War from 1952-54 with a rank of Corporal.

He was a member of NRA.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Services will be held at a later date. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.
