She was born June 23, 1946, in Frankfort, Ind., the daughter of Lena Belle Fisher and Lloyd Roberts Sr. She married Phillip H. Derry on June 19, 1964, in Davenport, Iowa. He survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Rebecca (and Hector) Derry-Villasenor, Joanna (Derry) Clark and Belinda Spicer; one son, Phillip (and Aimee) Derry II; several foster children; one brother, Lloyd (and Georgia) Roberts II; one sister-in-law, Joyce (and Harold) Belville of Astoria; and 13 grandchildren.
Services were held March 25, 2014, at Azusa Assembly of God in Albuquerque, N.M., with Hector Villasenor officiating. Cremation was accorded. Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque was in charge of arrangements.
