Richard L. Dean, 66, of Springfield, Ohio, formerly of Astoria, died Dec. 23, 2013.
He was born March 3, 1947, in Macomb, the son of Clyde Dean and Freda (Frederick) Dean.
Surviving are his present wife, Patty.
Also surviving are his first wife, Edie Dean and their children, Brian (and Laura) Dean, Darin Dean and Misty (and Mark) Workman, all of Astoria; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his second wife, Betty and his parents, Freda (and Ralph) Bunch and Clyde (and Velma) Dean.
He worked at IH in Canton and retired from Navistar.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A private family service will be held at a later date.
