Randall DeShaRandall Eugene DeSha, 64, of Rushville, formerly of Springfield and Hillview, died at 7:44 a.m. Aug. 28, 2012, at Prairie Village Healthcare Center in Jacksonville.

He was born Nov. 18, 1947, in Hillview, a son of Victor James and Mina Morgan DeSha.

Surviving are three brothers, Charles (and Delores) DeSha of Jefferson City, Mo., David Leon DeSha of Bluegrass, Iowa, and Larry DeSha of Rushville; one sister, Donnita (and Eugene) Young of New Britain, Conn.; two stepsons, Ronnie Riley and Carl Riley; and one step grandchild.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald, Carl and LeRoy DeSha; and his stepmother, Ophelia DeSha.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

He graduated from the former Springfield Barber College in Springfield. He owned and operated DeSha's Barber Shop in Springfield and Hillview for over 27 years.

He was a member of United Pentecostal Church in Rushville.

A celebration of life was held Saturday at Hillview Baptist Church with Pastor Larry DeSha officiating. Burial was in Pine Tree Cemetery in Patterson.
