Thomas D'CampThomas Howard D'Camp, 69, of Macomb died at 4:20 a.m. April 23, 2012, at Snyder's Vaughn-Haven Nursing Home in Rushville.

He was born Aug. 31, 1942, in Peoria, a son of Samuel Thomas and Clesta Charolette Clanin D'Camp.

Surviving are one brother, Claude (and Donna) D'Camp of Ashland; and five sisters, Ethel (and Orville) Abbey of Jacksonville, Shirley (and Wally) Bassham and Jeannette D'Camp, both of Littleton, Earline (and Eugene) Fox of Pittsburg, Mo., and Charolette D'Camp of Quincy.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Samuel D'Camp; and two sisters, Joyce D'Camp and Julia West.

He was a farmer for Dale Wells for many years. Later, he worked as a dishwasher at Marriott Hotel at Western Illinois University in Macomb, retiring due to health issues in 2006.

He attended Church of God in Macomb.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Home in Rushville with Pastor Larry Lindow officiating. Burial will follow in Brooklyn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Wood Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Brooklyn Cemetery or Cass-Schuyler Area Hospice.
