Florence A. “Flip” Davis, 74, of Lewistown died at 1:40 a.m. March 18, 2010, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.Florence A. “Flip” Davis, 74, of Lewistown died at 1:40 a.m. March 18, 2010, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born Dec. 5, 1935, in Kilbourne, a daughter of Joseph and Renda Jackson Hamm. She married Jerry D. Davis on June 2, 1978, in Springfield. He died Nov. 15, 2009.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Donnie A. Row; two brothers; and six sisters.
Surviving are one daughter, Connie (and Gene) Thomsen of Belton, Mo.; one brother, Jim Hamm of Peoria; and two grandchildren.
She had worked at Fulton County Courthouse in Lewistown.
She was a member of various card clubs.
Services were held at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Ray Greenfield officiating. Burial was in Laurel Hills Cemetery in Havana.
