David L. Denault, 59, of Lewistown died at 1:59 p.m. May 21, 2009, at Mason District Hospital emergency room in Havana.

He was born Dec. 2, 1949, in Macomb, the son of Donald Denault and Martha Twaddle Polovina.

He was in the United States Navy, serving as an AE3 from 1969 to 1971.

Surviving are his stepmother, Jane Denault of Galesburg; and a special friend with whom he shared a home, Sharon Connolly of Lewistown.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He was self-employed as a general laborer.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Kevin Kessler officiating. Military rites will be conducted by Astoria American Legion Post #25. Visitation will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. June 9 at the memorial home. Burial will be at a later date.
