Mary J. Danner, 99, of Morton died at 4:25 p.m. Jan. 29, 2009, at her home.
She was born Nov. 2, 1909, in Lewistown, the daughter of Frederick and Trula Bayless Standard. She married Floyd Danner on Nov. 1, 1947, in Springfield. He died March 20, 1975.
She also was preceded in death by two daughters, Paula Zimmerman and Betty Noack; one stepson, Richard Danner; one grandson, Steven Majerus; and one great-great-grandson, Bryce Rians.
Surviving are 12 grandchildren, Tony Majerus, Rae Ann Majerus-Smith, Tamy Bergman, Angela Maloney, Charles Majerus, Paula Noack, Bob Noack, Susan Clark, Donna Wilson, Maureen Birchfield, Doreen Carter and David Danner; 14 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was head of hydrotherapy department at Peoria State Hospital in Bartonville for over 30 years.
She was a member of Sunnyland Christian Church.
Graveside services were held Saturday at Ipava Cemetery with Pastor Evan Williams officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
