C. Lee DuncanCharles Lee Duncan, 70, of Lewistown died at 9:30 p.m. Aug. 4, 2008, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

He was born July 27, 1938, in Canton, the son of Charles S. and Wilma E. Hummel Duncan. He married Karen K. Mosher on Feb. 14, 1960, in Lewistown. She survives.

Also surviving are his mother of Lewistown; three daughters, Vicki (and Richard Mahan) Ward of Vermont and LeNette (and Doug) Tindall and Leslie (and Jim) Evans, both of Lewistown; two sons, Todd (and Felicia Fisher) Duncan of Astoria and Kurt (and Kim) Duncan of Lewistown; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and one sister.

He was a veteran and served in the Illinois National Guard Reserves.

He worked for International Harvester Canton Works as a certified tool designer in the 60s and 70s. He and his wife have owned and operated LTD Industries in rural Lewistown for 40 years.

He was a member of Illinois Street Christian Church.

Other memberships include Lewistown Lodge AF & AM 104, Scottish Rite Valley of Peoria and Mohammed Shrine. He served on the Spoon River Co-op Board of Directors and was past president.

Services were held Saturday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Rev. Ray Greenfield officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.
