Raymond E. Drinkwater, 52, of Smithville, Mo., died May 23, 2007.
He was born Oct. 6, 1954, in Canton, a son of Frankie and Margaret Brown Drinkwater.
Surviving are his wife, Faye, of Smithville; one son, Joseph of Fairview; one stepson, Chris Hickle of Smithville; one sister, Evelyn (and Dick) Matheny of Cuba; four brothers, Kenneth (and Debbie) Brown of Smithfield, Estie R. and Marshall L. of Canton, and Ronald E. (and Sandy) of Pekin; and two grandchildren. He also is survived by his former wife, Diana Roberts Drinkwater.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one stepson, Shawn Hickle.
He was of the Methodist faith.
He worked at Lowman’s Cafe for nine years in various capacities.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial services will be held June 10, 2007, at Community Center Complex in Smithville from 4-6 p.m.
