Harriet W. Davis, 87, of Astoria died at 5:10 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2005, at Astoria Gardens & Rehab Center.
She was born Sept. 24, 1918, in St. Joseph, Mo., the daughter of William P. and Mildred Thompson Bockelman. She married James B. Davis on Jan. 21, 1939, in St. Joseph, Mo. He died Aug. 13, 1973.
Surviving are one son, Jim (and Sherry) of Montgomery; one daughter, Barbara (and Gary) Engel of Lewistown; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She worked at Anchor Brush in Montgomery from 1959 to 1982.
She was a member of Fourth Street United Methodist Church in Aurora.
Services were held Monday at her church with Pastor David Eichelberger officiating. Burial was in Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery in Aurora.
