George Denison

George E. Denison, 55, of Lewistown died at 8:34 a.m. Friday, Feb. 25, 2005, at Graham Hospital Extended Care in Canton.

He was born April 11, 1949, in Bloomington, a son of Jess Edward and Betty Belle Anderson Denison. He married Beverly A. Wilkinson on Jan. 25, 1988, in Danvers. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Leigh and George, both of Bloomington; two daughters, Darby Denison and Dawn Denison, both of Bloomington; two stepsons, Jeremiah Wilkinson and Jessy Wilkinson, both of Lewistown; four stepdaughters, Brandy (and Max) Bowman of Astoria, and Drew (and Kane) Brown, Natasha Wilkinson and Mindy (and Brian) Kruzan, all of Lewistown; 11 stepgrandchildren; and one brother, Steve of Orlando, Fla.

A Vietnam War Army veteran, he served two tours of duty in Vietnam.

He worked at Intermet in Havana.

Services were held Tuesday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home with Rev. Layton Malone officiating. Cremation was accorded.
