Richard Wesley "Dick" Duncan, 71, of Macomb died at 7:40 a.m. Monday, Jan. 19, 2004, at his home.

He was born April 22, 1932, in Macomb, a son of Monta Carroll and Anna May Nelson Duncan. He married Linda McSperritt in 1965. She survives.

Also surviving are two sisters, Dorothy Nelson of Burlington, Iowa, and Clara Spencer of Table Grove.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

An Army veteran, he was a life member of Macomb American Legion Post 6 and was a member of Macomb Elks Lodge 1009.

He worked in the parts department at Ford Garage for many years before retiring.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Workman officiating. Visitation will be tonight from 6:30-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or McDonough District Hospital.
