Olin E. "Oly" DeWitt, 60, of Macomb died at 7:50 a.m. Sunday, July 6, 2003, at his residence.

He was born Dec. 27, 1942, a son of Elbert and Gladys Trent DeWitt. He married Nancy Cook.

Surviving are two sons, Rich (and Sandra) of Macomb and Garrett of Table Grove; one daughter, Lanissa DeWitt of Table Grove; two brothers, Nolan of Roseville and Kenneth of Lynn Haven, Fla; and three grandchildren.

He was an Air Force veteran and a member of the Macomb Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He was a maintenance mechanic for Porcelain Products for 36 years.

He was a former member of the AFL-CIO Steelworkers of America.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb with Rev. Larry Abbott officiating. Visitation is tonight from 6:30-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, where military rites will be accorded by the Macomb VFW and the Macomb American Legion.

Memorials may be made to an education fund for his grandchildren in care of First State Bank in Macomb.
