She was born Aug. 28, 1918, in Beardstown, a daughter of Dr. Harry and Bernice Snedeker Baxter. She married Ralph Lewis Danner on Aug. 20, 1939, in Astoria. He died June 3, 1994.
She also was preceded in death by one brother.
Surviving are one son, Dr. David (and Sharon) of Pekin; one daughter, Sally (and Dale) Bergeson of St. Louis, Mo.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Astoria United Methodist Church, the Mayflower Society and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She attended Knox College where she was a member of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority.
Services were held Tuesday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. Marian Stone officiating. Burial was in Astoria Cemetery.
