JAMES R. DICK

James Dick

James R. Dick, 60, of Kingman, Ariz., formerly of Summum, died at 10:25 a.m. Friday, May 8, 1998, at his home.

He was born Oct. 16, 1937, in McDonough County, the son of James and Alice Ackerson Dick. He married Nancy Stephanie Harrison on Aug. 14, 1957. She died Jan. 4, 1980. He later married Shirley Breneman Maningoine on Dec. 29, 1981. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Douglas Dick of Bullhead City, Ariz.; one daughter, Marion Shell of Havana; four stepsons, Jim, Jeffrey and Joseph Maningoine of Bullhead City, and John Maningoine of Payson, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and two sisters, Ila Hadsall of Lewistown and Juanita Irwin of Urbana, Ohio.

He was the branch office manager for Dixon Pest Control in Kingman for 13 years. He attended First Assembly of God Church in Kingman.

Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, at the Summum Christian Church. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. at Summum Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church. Desert View Funeral Chapel in Kingman is in charge of arrangements.
