Helen L. Durdy, 82, of Macomb, died at 3:26 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 1997, at McDonough District Hospital, Macomb.
She was born May 5, 1915, in Table Grove, a daughter of Samuel and Katherine (Tryant) Hukill. She married Robert Durdy. He preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents.
Surviving are three sons, Edward Hoyt of Saint Joseph, Mo., Kenton Hoyt of Plymouth, and Duane Hoyt of Carthage; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Nellie Twidwell of Galesburg.
Graveside services were held Tuesday in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Macomb, with the Rev. Ron Green officiating. Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home in Macomb was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the McDonough District Hospital.
