Mary S. Dutton, 96, of Rushville, died at noon Tuesday, April 4, 1995, at Snyder’s Vaughn-Haven Nursing Home.
She was born Dec. 14, 1898, in Bernadotte, the daughter of Jesse Franklin and Annie Martin Bock. She married Dr. Wilbert J. Dutton on Dec. 2, 1924 in Macomb. He died Oct. 12, 1971. She also was preceded in death by infant twin sons and three brothers.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Gordon (Rosemary D.) Stephens of Rushville; two granddaughters; and one great-grandson.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Rushville, Schuyler Chapter 694 Order of Eastern Star, Rushville Women’s Federation and served on the Virginia Scripps Park House Committee.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at her church, with Rev. Dr. Jack Volkers officiating. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 tonight at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville. Burial will be in Astoria Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church or Scripps Park in Rushville.
