Linda David

Linda Sue David, 30, of rural Lewistown, was pronounced dead at 7:06 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 1995, at the location of a single vehicle accident about 4 miles west of Lewistown.

She was born on Dec. 2, 1964 at Canton, a daughter of Martin E. and Beverly (Riles) David. She married Brad Hawf in Iowa on Feb. 26, 1985.

Survivors include one son, Mathew Hawf at home; her father and stepmother, Martin and Lynda David of rural Marietta; her mother and stepfather, Russell and Beverly David of Liverpool; her paternal grandmother, Maxine David of Lewistown; one sister, Mrs. Timothy (Christine) Van Middlesworth of Canton; three brothers, Greg David of Marshalltown, Iowa, Kevin David of Clinton, Iowa, Karl David of DeWitt, Iowa; two half brothers, Martin W. David and Gerald L. David, both of rural Marietta; two stepbrothers, Charles Chamberlain of Havelock, N.Car. and Dean Menard of Peoria; four stepsisters, Karen Barnett of Canton, Danielle Hire of Lawrenceburg, Mo., Patty Lucas of Greensburg, Pa. and Cindy Riley of West Plains, Mo.

She was preceded in death by one grandmother, two grandfathers and one aunt.

She was a homemaker.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Henry Memorial Home in Lewistown with Rev. Kerm Kidder officiating. Burial was in the Liverpool Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to an education fund for her son, Mathew Hawf at the National Bank of Canton.
