William Davis, 74, of 117 N. Broadway, Havana, died at 1:46 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 1985, in Graham Hospital, Canton.
He was born Feb. 7, 1910, in Astoria, the son of Rev. John and Anna (Prather) Davis. He married Ruth Horner July 17, 1937, in Canton. She died Oct. 4, 1979.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. James (Janice) Stroh of Havana; and two grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Ronald Davis.
He worked at International Harvester Co. 45 years before retiring in 1970. He was a member of Canton Moose Lodge.
Funeral services were held at Hurley Funeral Home, Havana, with Rev. L. Arvil Bass officiating. Burial was in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
