Thomas J. Davis Dies In Hospital

Thomas J. Davis, 77, of rural Farmington, died at 1:55 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 1980, in St. Francis Hospital in Peoria, where he had been a patient since May 28.

He was born Dec. 20, 1902, in Astoria, a son of Isaiah and Ann (Harmon) Davis. He married Ednamae Davis July 3, 1925, in Pinckneyville. She preceded him in death on Nov. 13, 1979, at Peoria.

Surviving are three sons, John T. of Marion, Ralph E. of Brighton and Kenneth E. of Sioux Falls, S.D.; two daughters, Mrs. James (Beverly) McMahon of Farmington and Mrs. Donald (Juanita) Egan of Peoria; and one sister, Mrs. Evelyn Luchsinger of Peoria.

Two sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Davison-Fulton Western Chapel with Rev. James Sandy officiating. Burial was in Lutheran Cemetery.
