Mrs. Jessie L. Danner Of Blandinsville Dies

Mrs. Jessie Louise Danner, 52, of Blandinsville, died Sept. 2 at McDonough District Hospital following a two weeks illness.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5, in the Blandinsville Methodist church. The Rev. John Keller officiated and burial was in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Macomb.

Mrs. Danner was born March 15, 1909 in Scotland township to Frederick A. and Bessie McKinnon Capsall. She was reared and educated in McDonough county and had lived near Blandinsville since 1938.

She married Herschel Danner at Adair on Feb. 16, 1927, who survives.

She was a member of the Rock Creek Methodist church, the Women’s Society of Christian Service and the McDonough District Hospital Women’s Auxiliary.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her mother of Macomb; two daughters, Mrs. Gwendolyn Phillips of Eureka, and Mrs. Barbara Klossing of Killeen, Texas, a son, Sam Danner at home; three grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers.
